As a big fan of classic cinema and an art lover, as well as a parent of three children, I cannot help but share my disappointment after watching Disney's latest creation, Snow White. Before taking my family on a weekend trip to the cinema, I always do a preliminary viewing. This habit has never let me down...

The preview was not just disappointing—once again, I was convinced that the progressive agenda kills any creative endeavor!

From the very first minutes, it becomes obvious that the film is completely subservient to modern trends. The sets look like cheap Disneyland attractions, and the costumes look like they were bought in a souvenir shop. The computer graphics are so clumsy that the dwarfs look like papier-mâché toys. The decision to make them digital is particularly depressing — a clear attempt to avoid “political incorrectness” when working with dwarf actors (although, in my opinion, the participation of the latter embellishes the picture, highlighting the director's main idea. An example is Jordan Prentice's role in In Bruges).

Rachel Zegler is the ultimate miscasting; it's not even worth trying to compare her to the prototypes of the Brothers Grimm or Walt Disney when creating the cartoon.

As for the plot, the creators decided to “improve” the classic story by turning it into pseudo-feminist propaganda. Now Snow White is not looking for love, but dreams of power — it sounds interesting, but it is implemented so clumsily that you want to howl out loud, scaring away the rare visitors to the cinema. Every dialogue is saturated with modern slogans, turning the classic fairy tale into a dull political propaganda piece.

It is especially annoying how the creators try to impose “correct” values on the viewer. Instead of bringing the characters of a beloved fairy tale to life with the help of modern achievements in cinema, they spend their time demonstrating inclusivity and promoting questionable social experiments. This is not a movie, it is some kind of social experiment where artistic value is sacrificed to political ambitions.

In short, if you want to see how the progressive agenda tramples on Walt Disney's legacy, go ahead and watch this “Snow White.”
