Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie 4K 2025 Ultra HD 2160p

A sci-fi comedy in the mockumentary genre. Although it doesn’t really look like a mockumentary. A bromance with a plot reminiscent of “Back to the Future” and “Groundhog Day.” It seems like everything was done pretty well and the characters are okay, but it just didn’t click with me. It was frankly boring.

I liked the bit of dark humor toward the end and the vanilla happy ending, but overall, it’s too fixated on technical and mundane details that aren’t very interesting and are constantly repeated.

Plot. Two unsuccessful musicians. One is just a slacker; the other is an energetic dreamer. Both dream of achieving fame and becoming a super-popular band. The dreamer is also a fan of the movie *Back to the Future* and believes in time travel. And then one day, he manages to replicate a fantastic experiment and ends up in the past, where he decides to make some changes that will affect their future success. But upon his return, it turns out that things didn’t quite go according to plan, and now they have to find a way to undo what happened.

Some people might enjoy this. The film is a sequel to the cult web series (2007–2009) and the TV series of the same name (2017–2018). Judging by the description, it’s full of references to older film projects. I haven’t seen any of those, which is probably why I didn’t really get into it. Without that context, the film feels like a drawn-out fanfic for a niche audience. Oh, and the events have absolutely nothing to do with the legendary band Nirvana.
