Bill and Ted all their lives believed in the prophecy that their rock and roll would save the universe from destruction, but they never wrote a great song. When a global catastrophe is already on the nose, and space and time are shifting in the world, Rufus's daughter Kelly takes her friends into the future, where they learn that they have 77 minutes left to save the world. And then they go to the future to steal the song ... from themselves. Meanwhile, their daughters Thea and Billy decide to help their dads and, having borrowed a time machine from Kelly, they begin to collect great musicians of different eras.

'A sense of nostalgia, matured and new heroes, the same light humor with a set of light bacchanalia that happens after so much time' - probably this could describe everything that happens on the big screen. I was extremely surprised and, of course, could not help but be glad that after a long time, the film, nevertheless, received its legitimate continuation. Of course, many people hardly remember him, because the previous parts were released already in 1989 and 1991 (where George Carlin also played). And those heroes that I remember are the "dolts", the creators of their time, who, moreover, traveled in time and tried to unite the whole WORLD with their songs. And so they returned. True, the decisive factor in going to this movie, given that not everyone remembers the background, was the figure of Keanu Reeves, who has long acquired the status of a cult personality both among fans and among ordinary fans. Therefore, it was not surprising to see excitement and expectation of something interesting from this film. And in this regard, I will single out two problems due to which, most likely, people left the audience (at any rate at the session I was at) in a complete lack of understanding of what was happening on the screen.

The creators made the introductory part, telling the background to the third part, for which thanks to them, of course, but for the 5 minute introduction it was impossible to tell the plot of the two films and lead the story so that the viewer would not get confused in the characters, from the links, and so that he would understand what's going on on the screen.

The fact is that almost everything that happens in this film, albeit within easy and reasonable limits, was for the fans. The film tells that for 25 years, Bill and Ted have not been able to create a song that would unite the whole WORLD, but they persist in trying. Now they are family men who are exemplary and loving their wives, who have wonderful daughters, as well as those who are still trying to fulfill the prophecy predicted by them by `` people from the future. '' However, they did not come up with the song, the one and only, and since before the fulfillment of the prophecy is not much time, people from the future give everything they need to write a song, the remaining 77 minutes before the death of the world. The speed of the narration almost immediately, in a whirlwind, throws into the abyss of events, where the complete 'sadomy' unfolds further and carries us to the end of the story. And hence the first problem of this creation is the plot.

The plot is extremely simple. The picture is good, well filmed, but how did the creators fit into the timing and within a certain budget (the special effects are as if they bought from the creators of 'Shazam' with avito) it's incredible. There is such a saturation of events from which, when watching, you do not quite understand what is happening and what to laugh at. The second problem arising from the first is the characters. There is no character development during the entire film. Not only development, but no real conflict. More precisely, he is, he just remained in two other films, about which, I'm almost sure, not everyone is aware of. And, as a conclusion, I would like to ask the creators: 'For whom is this film !?', 'That's who this creation is for !?'. For kids? That, they will not understand. For adults !? So not everyone remembers what happened in the previous parts! Because the idea is cool! Honestly, I reacted very strongly when I heard the performance of famous musicians in the past. It was warm inside and pleasant, from the realization that many of them have been dead for a long time, but their work is forever with us and we can allow us to enjoy it. But why, why such a weak song at the end ?! I really expected to hear something worthwhile at least, but it turned out the way it happened and now nothing can be done about it. The film is in production and it's already in theaters.

In conclusion, I will say this, the film is very kind and sincere in all respects. Lots of good moments, great actors and generally nice music. And everything would be fine, if not for the forced timing and scenario lameness. After all, there will be many who will scold the film, and there will be those who say that it is excellent. Because in that universe, Bill and Ted still have time to save the future and a chance to unite the whole world. Then, as in our universe, they never came up with a song that rallied around this film.
