1984 year. Diana is still sad for the deceased Steve, fights petty crime and works at the Smithsonian Museum. One day she meets a new colleague Barbara, a generalist who is tasked with studying new artifacts. Among the ancient objects is a mysterious crystal that grants wishes. So Steve suddenly returns to Diana, and the shy and clumsy Barbara gains incredible strength, dexterity and attractiveness. But businessman Maxwell Lord is hunting for the magic crystal, and he has very insidious plans for this artifact.

Missing big and colorful films, I followed with interest the trailers for the sequel to Wonder Woman. The expectations were uncomplicated: a simple and dynamic film, a little heroic pathos, a little good sense, a beautiful and elegant Gal Gadot, a little romance and humor. A great opportunity to relax and spend a couple of hours in the cinema. There were fears that the film might turn out to be overly stupid or try to raise topics beyond its capacity. Fortunately, only good expectations came true: I watched a kind, light romantic fairy tale with teenage themes about love and loneliness, about self-determination, and finding my place in life.

I liked how the drama of the relationship of the main character was shown, which is very familiar to many people: it is impossible to be together, and it is impossible to be apart. And you have to make a choice, but it hurts so much that you put it off until the last.

There is no unambiguous villain in the film - only people entangled in their desires. For small children, the world is simple and understandable, but with age, most of us lose this vision. Everything gets confused, complicated. Actions conflict with emotions. At some point, only one desire remains unambiguous: to rest.

Exactly the same story and the heroes of the film. The evil here is vices, not their carriers. And honesty with oneself is called the highest all-conquering virtue.

The film crew had to travel to several countries for the sake of the film, thanks to which we got a number of colorful locations. Although there are not many dynamic action scenes, they look good. In an interview, director Patty Jenkins mentions that during the filming the ropes were used much more than usual, and this is easy to believe - there are many flights in the clouds in the film.

Gal Gadot trained for filming for several months. These were mainly combat sports and fencing. Her face is not protected by a mask, like some other superheroes, so the actress had to perform many of the stunts herself. This negatively affected her health, now she has to undergo treatment. I would like to believe that she does not regret anything: she succeeded well in the role. The Israeli fashion model does not have bright acting talents, but here the character itself suits her perfectly. Wonder Woman is calm and simple, with a bright smile and no contradictions in character. Unless it can be difficult to keep the seriousness of Gala with her giggly character, but otherwise the image fits very well.
