The first thing that catches your eye when you come to the cinema for Marvel's new film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" is a full auditorium. And this is on weekdays, in an expensive aimax. Perhaps, the fact that, unlike the "Black Widow", "The Legend of the Ten Rings" is released with a 45-day window, is also affected - it will not be possible to watch the film online in the near future.

In addition, if "Black Widow" was, albeit a high-quality, but rather average film, in "Shang-Chi" Marvel did their best. The basis of the new work is martial arts. There is a lot of fighting here: on the bus (it seems that in Hollywood this is becoming a kind of feature), and even in the forests of a skyscraper, a real hell for those who are afraid of heights.

Despite the fact that most of the actors are American, their roots are Chinese. This choice is not surprising, since a significant part of the film's action will take place in Asia, despite the fact that the film was filmed mainly in Australia. But the picture is saturated with Asian elements: dragons, lanterns, Chinese traditions and outlandish animals.

It will be difficult to find fault with "Shang-Chi" even for those who do not like comics - the connection with other Marvel films is tiny here, in the form of small cameos, and the plot is completely sealed - this is the protection of the village from demons. But fans of action movies can rejoice - the level of staging fights is high, the heroes both jump and fly, there is no firearm in the film. But there are magic rings that add magic to the narrative, but only one person wears them.

To reduce the level of pathos, the producer of the film, Kevin Feige, made one of the characters an ordinary person - this is the girlfriend of the protagonist, performed by the singer Aquafina. Perhaps this is the coolest character in the film - ridiculous, funny, but ready to do anything for the sake of friendship.

"Shang-Chi" is a good example of how you can make a movie based on comics, but at the same time remain within the framework of an Asian-style kung fu action movie and practically without heroes with superpowers.
