Review 4K Movie

Mad Max is a great, atmospheric, brutal action drama. A picture that tells how a decent family man and a dedicated police officer becomes an anti-hero who, if he helps someone, then if he benefits from it.

Mad Max 2: Warrior of the Road is a great dystopia and a great sequel that is somehow better than the original. Director George Miller approached the project very responsibly, and Mel Gibson made the film a famous actor. The second part is perfectly saturated with the atmosphere of the post-apocalypse.

How did Mad Max 3: Under the Dome of Thunder turn out? The film turned out, in principle, not bad, but when compared with the first or second part, the film is weak. The picture turned out to be not as successful as the 1979 film and the 1981 film. There is no more atmosphere of madness, and Max's madness itself is absent. It can be seen that the director and producers wanted to raise more money. The ferocity, cruelty and insanity went away with the arrival of the 'PG-13' rating, which was needed to bring additional audiences to the film. Max, who lost everything: the meaning of life, family, there is no home, no friends, who can be considered an antihero who will help if he finds benefit in this. Transformed into a classic, good guy who will save everyone, that face with a fierce grin disappeared. There are also crowds of children in the film, and now the man who, in the last film, threw a child for cartridges, on the hood of a car, on the move, under execution, became Mother Teresa. Which would easily replace Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 'Kindergarten Policeman'. And the film started wrong, at the beginning you hear the song of Tina Turner - it is simply inappropriate here. And the action is not as cool here as in the second.

But the film also has its pluses. I liked the idea that people decided to build civilization back even after the destructive war. I also liked the color and charisma of some of the characters. In the film, in principle, a good acting game, Tina Turner is especially damn good, her character is very charismatic, and Mel Gibson also played well, of course he played the wrong character, but Gibson proved that he was an ideal candidate for the role of Max.
