The amazing Madrigal family lives in a magical house hidden in the mountains of Colombia, located in a wonderful and charming corner called Encanto. Each child in the Madrigal family has been blessed by the magic of this place with a unique gift - from super strength to the ability to heal. Alas, magic bypassed only one young Mirabelle. Finding that Encanto's magic is in danger, Mirabelle decides that she may be the last hope to save her special family.

The latest Disney cartoon. Looked. And that's what I want to say.

Disney Corporation continues the newfangled course towards ethnicity and feminism. Again an exotic location (outback in Latin America), again the main character, in addition to being a little ... er ... body-positive. And again, the entire cartoon will be driven almost exclusively by female characters, from juniors to the matriarch.

So, that was information for adults, and now about the important for children. The cartoon is beautiful, no doubt. Songs... Not bad. And even, too, beautiful, in part. But the very history of finding oneself, overcoming and saving is by no means new. The magic here is either from Dorian Gray, or from Gnostic legends, but in the end it turned out to be some more cheerful and bright (and dry!) ​​version of the famous city of Makonda from the immortal local novel.

What else. In my opinion, the story is a little too long.

Further, the magical Madrigal family is quite funny, but they still lacked some kind of zest. The story is beautiful, but quite disposable.

In general, it is quite possible to watch once. And the ending is quite correct and sincere.
