Nine of Japan's top animators were asked to create short films based on the theme of "Robots" in order to later combine them into one film. The common element, human interaction with robots, and specifically the consequences of creating life with one's own hands.

Of the short films shown, all of them are good in their own way, but I think they deserve special attention:

Presence .

Beautiful narrative, art style, and animation.

The girl, artificially created, is as tender as life; she feels the heart of the man who created her, and wants to love, or rather, to exist, with the undivided happiness of calling herself alive. Feelings cannot be programmed, they can only be experienced, need even. But people's emotions are complex and boundless in their diversity, one will have to comprehend pain... This is how catastrophes, which fit into a few words, happen. Remorse and harmony will come later, as dawn replaces darkness. And the souls of the creator and his created will find peace.
