Princess Snow White lost her mother at an early age, and her father the King remarried. The vain and spiteful Queen, jealous of her stepdaughter's beauty, forces the girl to wear rags and do dirty work, and treats her like a servant. Having learned from the magic mirror that Snow White has become the most beautiful girl in the world, the envious woman decided to destroy the lovely stepdaughter. But the poor girl did not die in the forest, but on the contrary, she met real friends there - funny seven dwarfs: Professor, Grumpy, Merry, Modest, Sneezy, Sonya and Silent.

I'll be honest - it was a shock for me to realize that the cartoon "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was filmed in 1937. Yes, of course, I watched it as a child, and guessed that the cartoon was made quite a long time ago, but I did not realize that it was already 73 years old. And there were several reasons for that.

First of all - it's gorgeous animation. How little was known to me about the art of creating cartoons until this very moment. For some reason, it always seemed that cartoons of the early 20th century must necessarily promote some political ideology, be black and white and executed in such a naive manner that you get very nauseous after each phase of the character.

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is the result of a colossal work done by the workers of the film studio "Walt Disney". This is truly a masterpiece, if only because it has generated a gigantic number of parodies.

The second reason of my amazement is the voicing of the characters. Everything is also done competently and originally. Remember at least Snow White's song in the very beginning at the well, from which her echo came. Or the famous song of dwarves returning from work at the mine. Many modern cartoons just have to smoke nervously aside.

And the third, perhaps the most sentimental reason - I am surprised that this cartoon did not destroy the fascist system, did not prevent the Second World War. It carries so much kindness, light and sincere love for the world that even yours truly smiled in several places. And this is so many years after watching it as a child!

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is an Oscar-winning animated film that should be a must-see for all children. This is a beautiful animated story based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. There is no violence, vulgarity, silly dialog and cruel jokes. It is a pity that now such cartoons are almost impossible to find.
