Story Movie

Garf and Wayne are the young badasses who write and host the youth television program Wayne's World. A successful businessman, who happened to see this semi-amateur show on local cable TV, realized that he could make money on it. He signs them to a rip-off contract, but the guys can't go along with pure commerce.

Things turn into a conflict, and here the businessman has his eye on the beautiful rock singer Cassandra, for whom Wayne is very fond. The guys take the initiative.

Review 4K Movie

This movie was like a revelation for me at the time... Michael Myers' trademark humor (I mean the actor, not the maniacal killer from Halloween) always delighted me in a scary way. I only later watched "Ze Best" from "Saterday Night Live" with Michael Myers and his buddy Dunn Carvey, and I completely understood how talented comedians they are.

"Wayne's World" 1 & 2 follows in the tradition and style of Myers, his silly yet ingenious jokes are a joy to behold, a great follow-up to Monty Python and the Zucker Brothers.

Just look at the scene where Wayne and Gard start advertising different goods, or 3 different variants of the ending, or the lovemaking scene between Gard and Kim Basinger in 2 parts - you will faint with laughter.

The movie captures a certain early 90's vibe. I highly advise everyone to watch episodes 1 and 2 of the movie, and for that matter, don't miss the "Austin Powers" trilogy that Maers will be making later. So relax, grab a "sweetie and a smoke" and dive into the world of Michael Myers' delirious comedy, party on!
