On Wednesday the 11th, a dangerous psychopath nicknamed the Butcher, who had escaped from an insane asylum for criminals, killed four teenagers. The maniac also had an antique dagger in his possession, which he used the next night to attack Millie, a bored high school girl, but the girl managed to escape. The next day, Friday the 13th, Millie wakes up in an abandoned warehouse in the body of a maniac, and the Butcher himself in a cozy girl's bedroom in the body of an innocent high school girl. Of course, he is more than happy to go to school, and Millie now has to figure out how to get back into her own body without getting caught by the police.

"Freaky" - watching the trailer for this movie, I immediately thought of the 2002 Rob Schneider comedy "Chick," where there was a body swap between a graduate student and a thief. "The Game" is a mashup of a typical young adult horror film and "Chick".

Here we have Millie Kessler, an unremarkable heroine (unlike Rachel McAdams' heroine) who is bullied by her classmates, whose family is not all right either, and now having fallen "under the thumb" of Barney Garris, the Blisfield Butcher, Millie exchanges bodies with him and now the heroine has to fight for her body and for the lives of her friends...

Considering that at the moment the box office is in the doldrums I decided to go see "Freaky", I can say that the movie turned out in the style of "Happy Death Day" (which is expected because "Freaky" is from the makers of that movie). Quite, watchable movie, certainly not a masterpiece in the genre, but you can watch it once - from the "turn off the brain" series.

In principle, the "plot" in the film is clear, the development of events is quite expected, the bloody thrash is ensured. I wanted to note the acting of Vince Vaughn, it was funny to watch how he depicted the alumna, Catherine Newton played quite well too, she looked convincingly in the image of the maniac.

"Freaky" - is a kind of parody on teen slashers, here the murders are over the top, sometimes ridiculous, characters trying to survive in the circumstances and who behave like in typical horror movies, the film itself is quite dynamic, funny in its humor sometimes, rather bloody (18+ rating justified), thrashy in places. I repeat, "The Game" is not a masterpiece of its genre, you can watch it, especially now, as there is nothing good in movies, as they say "a fish for a fish without a fish".
