Having received a promotion, the brave gendarme Crouchot arrives in the cozy resort town of Saint-Tropez with his beautiful daughter Nicole. The kind but understated local gendarmes gladly accept Crouchot into their circle. But their joy quickly fades: not so kindly, but even more foolish Crouchot with zeal rushes to the defense of the law, even when the law in his defense does not need it.

With the arrival in Saint-Tropez of the gendarme Crouchot "peaceful" life of the town ends: hunting for nudists, searching for a priceless painting stolen from the museum, catching a gang of dangerous criminals - the useless gendarme always has something to do. 'The Troops of St. Tropez'... How much is in that word! Since childhood, my favorite movie, which gave rise to the incredible adventures of a squad of gendarmes from a sunny town in the south of France. And the main thing - so many events, so much action and crazy chases, fights and fights - so you can go crazy! But it was not that, not only that with gendarmes you will not get bored, about their adventures, adventures and tricks you want to remember always, so, choosing a movie for evening viewing, no, no, yes, and focus your attention on any of the parts of the anthology. Wonderful movie, wonderful and original play of each actor, competent staging and the course of the storyline - all this simply disposes to more and more new viewings of the tape and its logical continuation in the form of further adventures of the gendarmes.

In the first part, in the first series of the legendary tale of the brave soldier Krucho everything is just beginning - the viewer is introduced to the hero himself in epaulettes, with his new team to protect and preserve public order (one is no better than the other), and, of course, with the beautiful daughter of the newly minted sergeant, with the charming Nicole. Having started as a film, which tells about everyday life of French police (or gendarmerie), it continued and got its development not as a routine or an uninteresting collection of incoherent themes and plots, but as an incendiary, bright and burning with sparkling humor, originality and intrigues, a tape, which you are interested in, enjoy and sincerely react to all the actions and crazy flow of events, which is given quite a lot of space in this film.

What only do not do our gendarmes, in order to prevent violations of order, the development of delinquent actions and debauchery - then hunting for nudists, then dangerous bandits and thugs catch, and then - and even hunt for a stolen thieves picture, for which you can get a fortune. Quite interesting, unusual methods and ways to act our heroes, but as a result, they turn from ordinary losers and deadbeats into national heroes, they are honored and praised, and they are pleased - small forces, but not without bruises and scratches, they faithfully coped with the tasks at hand, this is the boss and need, because the main thing - the result, and methods are not interesting to anyone.

That's how from series to series - an ordinary accident for these guys is more than enough to do the deed, to endure the fight with dangerous criminals or swindlers, being in the win, and in addition, receiving praise and a bonus from the bosses. Well, in my opinion, conscientious, but simple-minded performance of their work is as effective as possible, here you have five-year plans, here you have economic planning - with such guys everything is possible, and the goals, means and ways will always be found, you can not even doubt it!...

The first part, as the foundation of the adventures of the restless Cruchot and a group of his accomplices-partners looks very worthy and impressive, at least, it encourages to watch the next, more and more new series about the favorite heroes from Saint-Tropez, about the favorite and so funny gendarmes!...
