Alex and Tess agree to divorce and try to maintain a good relationship for the sake of raising their two sons. Now that they’re apart, the former spouses are readjusting to life on their own: Alex unexpectedly finds an outlet in stand-up comedy at New York clubs, while Tess, a former athlete, returns to volleyball as a coach.

It's alright. It is super slow but it has its moments. I really wouldn't call it a comedy either. It's more like a drama with some semi funny moments.

I did like how genuine the characters were. I mean they felt like your everyday Joes who are struggling in their relationships. It is a very realistic and relatable movie. The acting is great.

My main criticism is the pacing, length and the fact that's it's supposedly a comedy. I think I laughed 3 times. It's a good lazy Sunday afternoon movie.
