Review 4K Movie

I'll start with the general, I liked the film, I watched few films and I don't always even rate them. But this time the film amazed me and I wanted to share my emotions.

I'll start with the play of the wonderful Leonardo DiCaprio, I don't follow the actors, but I have heard more than once about his acting. He played his role by 101 percent, this charisma oozes through the screen, what speeches, what look, what emotions!

During viewing, the film amazes with the splendor, pathos of everything that happens on the screen, especially at the beginning, when the character describes his fun and wealth.

Throughout the entire movie, there are 18+ scenes from drugs and alcohol to erotic scenes with naked bodies. Usually I am embarrassed by erotic scenes, but as for me, they are poured into the film quite harmoniously, or I just developed immunity to this. Therefore, I do not understand the bewilderment in some of the reviews, which I had to skim through with my eyes. Neither the ordinary 18+ scenes, nor the orgy scene organized by their gay employee, did not embarrass or disgust me. So, in my opinion, these claims are empty. Although, perhaps, this is disgustingly embarrassing for someone, I do not deny it.

I really liked the presentation, with an interruption to the character's lines. This is not something new, but I would like to mark it with an asterisk. The framing also caught my attention, it is very mesmerizing and puts accents where it needs to be. The crowded office was perfectly shown, as if I were together with the characters in the middle of this chaos and bustle.

What can I say about the character. Jordan Belfort is a rather hot-tempered genius, whose insatiability has led him to moral bottom and prison. He is a very charismatic, natural-born leader, perfectly operates with a mass of people, presents beautiful speeches to the public, his speeches, by the way, are on the top of the list, this contact with the public, manipulation of attention, gestures and the like. But it is not for nothing that they say that the pursuit of material values ruins a person's happiness, because in this you will never find him.

However, I do not support the hero. I do not support his position and actions. I do not support falling into the abyss of all this madness over money. I can't help but note that he really liked all this kind of game, in the course of his business, taking people into the company, he made them rich and helped to clear up debts, isn't this good deeds? But wealth still swallowed him, he had fun practically not caring about anyone else and about anything else except his company. Needless to say, how much inconvenience he brings to other people under pills, is it worth saying how much pain he brought to his ex-wife and now ex-wife Naomi, and what kind of mental trauma did he leave to the child on the night of a quarrel with Naomi? And that's not all. Further, as it turned out, when real problems came, the hero could not emotionally cope with them, and again took drugs. And the problems do not end, one after another and everything rolls into a lump, which he cannot clean up and in the end will lose. The character has fallen morally.

The authors left us a final open for thought. The hero served his time and is already engaged in business sales trainings. But whether this will be something honest, whether the hero has corrected himself or will again come up with some illegal scheme for earning money, one can only guess.
