The plot unfolds around a violent incident on a ship, there have been murders and there are five suspects... Will the detectives be able to untangle this tangle and find out who is responsible for what happened?

So Brian Singer, today many know him from the "X-Men" franchise, but for 1995 not the most celebrated director takes on the filming of the detective. The narrative begins as in the books: the viewer sees the crime, the final events, but with a little veil - and then we are transported to different points in time associated with the event. The time line transitions don't interfere with the viewing, they are quite concise, so you shouldn't worry that you won't keep track of the plot.

As for the movie's dynamics, some may criticize that there is not enough action or movement, but you must understand that this is a detective film, that is why we speak about heroes and not about action. And there are no questions about heroes!

The main five are very, very decent; unfortunately, Hockney's character is lost against the background of the plot and the coloring of the other actors, but the others are very much in competition with each other for the audience's attention. I always say that Kevin Spacey is a great actor and this movie is definitely worth seeing to be sure, his acting really deserves that Oscar! Baldwin, Del Toro, the now familiar Esposito and other actors will please you with their performance here - so there is no question about the actors!

Unfortunately, the movie is a bit lackluster with the music, not the brightest exposition, lacks tension somewhere, but the second statuette of this movie is also completely justified - the plot of the movie is brilliantly written! This plot is impossible not to mention, and I don't want to leave spoilers, I'll just say: this movie makes you want to revisit it to look for small details/.

In the end, "Suspicious Faces" is a picture that went down in the history of detective movies, and for many years people will remember it, this movie has its faults, but it still shows a very high level.
