The former tomboys and badass hooligans eventually turned into the toughest guys in the neighborhood. They had forgotten how to trust each other. Gangland connections and stolen money had corrupted their souls and turned their hearts to stone. Now these guys live by special rules and follow only their own laws.

And when they, engulfed in flames of street warfare, have to choose between life and death, a clear conscience and betrayal - each of them will show his true face.

I liked the movie from the beginning to the end, even though the finale was a little bumpy for me.

The characters in the movie are very lively and you want to experience them! They're not just gangsters with guns like in many similar movies, they're like real guys from the street and there are a lot of them!

I really liked DMX in his role. He plays a tough guy who is the ringleader of his gang, his behavior is more like one of his favorite pit bulls than a wise leader. He's always going to the trouble and looking around with the kind of look that makes you feel uncomfortable! And it is interesting the metamorphosis he goes through in the finale.

In general the film has a decent clip of Hip-Hop singers in its asset. There are Nas and Method Man and Sean Paul in addition to the aforementioned DMX, which of course makes the movie better and confirms the excellent Soundtrack.

The vast geography of Atlanta, Jamaica, the many locations, the clubs, the jails, the streets, the dizzying developments, the shootouts, the robberies, the drug lords, the set-ups, the fights and even love! All this awaits you while watching the movie Belly, and only after you finish you know what lies ahead of ordinary guys who decided to end the bloody business.
