One of the first films in its genre. Apparently, almost every, even insignificant, black Hollywood actor gives credit to play in such films. This is me about Samuel L. Jackson, who played a cameo - Mr.'s father - in this film.

All films from this collection do not differ in anything special in terms of plot and are like two peas in a pod similar: there is a black guy who is fighting to live in difficult conditions, while earning money on the streets of his neighborhood, selling drugs, committing robberies, murders and other illegal actions.

Why does this film occupy such a prominent place among all this rubbish that is coming out now? I think this way: he came out at the peak of the emergence of an action movie in Hollywood, when the ball was ruled by cool pumped-up guys saving the world / America from the next villains, while all this was so fairy tale that we just closed our eyes to it, once again enjoying the beauty on the screen.

In the same film, in spite of everything reasonable (or rather, Hollywood) overwhelms
profanity, violent scenes of murder and rape and other delights of the streets of black quarters. Moreover, the film touches on such a problem as racism in America, when the police, because the guys are only black, beat them.

It was only later that all sorts of parodies in the style of 'Do not threaten South Central ...' began to come out, which we all saw and laughed at. But in this film you will not be laughing.
