Story Movie

Seventeen-year-old Kelly falls in love with her teacher, Sam. She uses all sorts of ways to get his attention, but to no avail. And when the girl doesn't get what she wants, she takes revenge. An unsuccessful lover accuses Sam of rape.

The evidence is clearly not enough, until Kelly is helped by her friend, who is willing to testify. But soon the girl realizes that she is just a pawn in an unfair game...

Review 4K Movie

For me this is a cult film, a true example of the genre. It's twisted, sensual, and gripping.

The main advantage of 'Wildness' is that with all the unexpected and upside down twists and turns, the plot does not seem contrived and far-fetched at all, but on the contrary, it impresses with its organicity and thoughtfulness. I give huge kudos to director John McNaughton and screenwriter Stephen Peters for this movie, though neither before nor after it these guys were notable for anything good.

The cast is awesome. I don't particularly like Bacon or Dillon, but they are both excellent actors and I consider this movie one of the best if not the best of their personalities. Bill Murray is great in the small role of the wily lawyer. Neve Campbell and Denise Richards just killed me, two bright, deep, completely different characters. The actresses opened up to the fullest, and Denise did it in the literal sense as well. After this movie I liked her so much that I'm ready to forgive her all the nonsense in which she was starring in recent years.

'Wildness' is a terrific film, a breath of fresh air in the swamp of talentless misfits of the genre.
