Rocky II 4K 1979 Ultra HD 2160p
After a tough fight with Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa heals his wounds. He decides to quit the sport and start a new quiet life. However, the prize money quickly melts away, and Rocky's new job doesn't work out. Despite the protests of his pregnant wife, Rocky agrees to a rematch with Apollo Creed, who is in great physical shape and burning with a desire for revenge on the Italian stallion.

Review 4K Movie

When Stallone came to the producers with the idea of the first film about the Italian boxer, he had more than $100 in his pocket. After the resounding success of "Rocky", he had $23,000 in his pocket. For an actor who received for their previous roles from the force of 200, well, a maximum of $ 1000, this was fabulous wealth. Also, a gift to the actor presented by the authors of "The Party at Kitty and the Herd," the debut film Sylvester: they remade the porn in erotica, cutting all the juicy moments, and symbolically renamed the picture in the "Italian stud".

It was only a matter of time before a sequel to Rocky was released. And now, three years after the premiere of the successful first part comes the sequel, which opens a new page in the life of a legendary boxer.

The picture begins with a fabulous 15th round fight against Apollo Creed, which ended the first film. Even though Apollo defeated Rocky, he was outraged by the main character's zeal. After all, Rocky was the first boxer who managed to hold out with Creed for all 15 rounds until the end. After this fight, Balboa decides to quit the big sport, for fear of going blind in any other fight.

In this movie (well directed by Sly himself, it should be noted), the Italian stallion is shown as an even more sentimental man. After the fight with Apollo he leaves the big sport not only because of the injury, but also because of Adrian. He wants to create a strong family and live the life of an ordinary man. It's not hard to see how Stallone's character rejoices when Adrian accepts his marriage proposal. Perhaps such emotions once in a lifetime experienced by everyone. Rocky does not spare any money for his wife. They get a two-story house, a car. It would seem that there is no limit to their happiness.

But, unfortunately, only in fairy tales all is well. In life, things are often different. Rocky's attempt to enter the advertising business ends in failure because he does not read well. His lack of education prevents him from finding a well-paying job. Gradually his dreams begin to crumble. The hero begins to have complexes about this. And then Apollo Creed in all sports programs speaks unflatteringly of Rocky for not wanting to get in the ring against him again.

And then Balboa realizes that he can't do anything else in this life at all. Except for one point: boxing. Everyone should mind their own business, right? So he resumes training to prepare properly for the rematch. But it will be hard for him to do so, because his wife is dead set against the idea.

In turn, his return to the ring are waiting for millions. After all, Rocky has already earned the love of the people. This is proved by one of the episodes of the film. If you pull up your memory, in the first film, during a run through South Philadelphia, he was greeted exclusively by people he knew. In the second picture, by the time Rocky reaches Benjamin Franklin Boulevard, hundreds of young people are running after him (it should be noted that 800 schoolchildren were recruited for this episode), chanting his name. Isn't that proof that the Italian stallion has become the ultimate role model for ordinary people?

So what's going to happen next? Everything will be all right, because that's what Rocky Balboa is, to finish what he started.
