I remember myself as a schoolboy. My last year of high school. It's summer. The summer when you realize that this is the last chance to rest, that now childhood is over and a long adult life is ahead of you. And she is with me forever, and this summer, this day of summer, when you are still considered a child, you can not return. But what horizons, what accomplishments I have to open and overcome. And all the future is seen as exceptionally positive, but at the same time there is sadness about the past. Nostalgia about yesterday. And what's more, there's a growing anxiety about the road ahead. And how right that choice will be will determine your fate for the rest of your life.

Those are the feelings I've been experiencing personally. And it's exactly the same feelings you get when you watch this amazing movie. It's night jokers, it's running from the police, it's the realization that you're not a child anymore, it's the first close embrace of boys with girls, it's trendy music, it's fast cars, it's partying until morning. The movie is like a kaleidoscope of events that throws at you a bunch of scenes connected by common characters, a common place, and literally the last few days of total irresponsibility.

Nostalgia is supported by the constant reminder that it is 1962, and those who have something to remember about those times feel additional sadness. But the boys and girls shown are not just jokers. They are alive. They are real. And they all have a goal and a dream. And at the end of the movie you really want to know how the fate of these characters. And how wonderful it is that already in the credits the authors reveal to us the secret of the future.

Comedy and drama in one flacon. Very warm, funny, but so serious movie.
