Review 4K Movie

It is a mild shock of unjustified expectations, backed by positive reviews, high scores and prizes, to see any reasonable explanation and goals that motivated the creators of such a movie.

I will not waste time to recount the plot, especially since it is not exceptional and does not impress with its novelty.

I will stop on the presentation. The first half an hour of watching the movie, the director and the screenwriter force you to watch dragging incomprehensible scenes, fragments from the life of the main character, as well as from his childhood and past, which supposedly should reveal his character. The question that arises and already just presses on the mind: why should I waste my time watching absolutely not fascinating scenes of going to the store, walking on the streets and so on. Amateur streaming is sometimes much more worthy. But these half an hour I am filling myself with hope that now the plot development will start, that the author will justifiably lead the viewer to the further plot and these scenes will magically and OBVIOUSLY become the threads that will connect everything into one logical whole.

After quite a long time there is at least some dynamics, and the author pours out, exactly pours out all his unrealized needs to appear before the viewer the author of “art for the initiated”. Here you can find the plot and the author's presentation of the history of broken destinies and corrupted power, in general, everything that should give spice and drama. Yeah, don't think I'm being serious right now. That's sarcasm!

The reviews above brought up the movies “Leon”, “Lie low in Bruges”. The first one is dynamic, emotional; the second one is tedious and moody with plot and logic and both are decent.

There are questions about the professional assassin with a hammer, again a technique of the author? Joe who gets into the governor's house unhindered. This is all the dream of a madman?! Okay, all that shooting, chasing, fighting, explosions - that's for action movies. There's got to be something else in the foreground here that's more newsworthy! I'm being sarcastic again. The tearful crying with the tearing of the shirt at the corpse of the governor, who was finished off by the girl with a scalpel, and later sitting at a set table, devoid of childish emotions, poking with a fork on a porcelain plate with bloody hands, fishing out broccoli.... What are these metaphors, artistic devices? Are they supposed to evoke horror, heighten the effect?! No, I'm DUMBED! It's all completely ridiculous. What did the movie evoke? The feeling of moral violence of me, as a viewer, by cynical creators-sociopaths with a claim to be a part of art at my expense (time, attention, mood).
