Review 4K Movie

As a child, I loved ninja movies, and what's more, in the era of pirated VHS tapes, there were a lot of such films in fan translations. Many of them were frankly not even B-movies, but complete trash, mainly shot by Hong Kong film companies, but there are some notable exceptions, real gems of the genre, and for me, that's Ninja Revenge. I didn't know before that this was the second part of a ninja trilogy, and I actually watched the other two films much later.

From the very first frames, the film makes a very lively impression. The massacre at the beginning is visually stunning, with excellent fight choreography, and very emotional and eerie. Further on, the film delights with an interesting plot, which cleverly weaves together the mafia, drugs, and a mysterious ninja in an iron mask. The finale is a real treat for all fans of the genre. The way the ninjas infiltrate the building and their fight on the roof of the skyscraper is filmed excellently, spectacularly, and inventively. It's hard to describe how many gadgets and weapons appear in the frame.

The cast is quite good for such an inexpensive production, and of course, Se Kosugi, for whom this is the most interesting and memorable film of his career.

So, it's a pretty good and well-made film in its genre. Of course, it won't impress modern viewers, but it still looks good today.
