According to the theory of the scientist Pretorius, man, unknowingly, coexists with another invisible world surrounding us all the time. The key to penetrating this parallel world is our "third eye", an inactive organ in the frontal area.

When the resonator (the machine that Pretorius created to stimulate the "third eye") worked, the scientists managed to penetrate the empire of the "sixth sense" and cause confirmation from the outside: they saw creepy and disgusting creatures gliding around them in the air! But one of the monsters suddenly became enraged and bit Pretorius's head off.

Review 4K Movie

A good mystic-soaked horror film of its time from the outstanding director Gordon Stewart. By the way, this original Lovecraft story is not that great, and all the characters in the picture, except for Pretorius and Tillinghast, and most of the plot was invented by Gordon himself. The budget may be small, but it's made up for with great atmosphere and a great story.

As for the special effects, they are a bit weak, though quite bearable for the 80's. The movie has some pretty creepy moments, though not many, but enough for a quality horror flick. The actors played their part to perfection, and Jeffrey Combs needs no introduction for horror fans at all.

An entertaining movie with a Lovecraftian flair. A must-see for fans of 80's chorus. The film still looks decent, and the plot and plot are alluring from the beginning to the end of the film.
