Review 4K Movie

Walking down the street in the morning to work, how many people do we meet along the way? A lot of completely unfamiliar little worlds with their own ideology, philosophy, religion and culture. When we arrive at work, how many colleagues do we meet, greet and smile at, but who do we really know? What lies behind that nice face of that guy and what that nice girl from the accounting department is really thinking about you. Hundreds of thousands of little universes and one of them is collapsing. The mental environment is distorted and collapses, and the human factory is producing defective material. That's what this is about.

This man is a good-looking man. He may not be a magazine hottie, but he's very respectable. Good manners, cultured speech, neat appearance and talks about high ideals, in particular about the importance of the family institution. But what is it? A truly remarkable person, a full-fledged citizen of his country? It's too good to be true. It's just a way of hiding the beast inside yourself and confusing those around you....

Jerry Blake, a realtor of real estate, specifically homes for the whole family, is the stepfather of a young girl Stephanie and her in-love naive mother Susan's husband. Stephanie dislikes him, but there's no way she can figure out for herself why. Until one day, during a barbecue when the family is hosting guests at their home, the heroine catches her adoptive father in a completely unbalanced state in the basement, thinking that he is alone. From that moment she begins to realize that the father is not all at home and tries to find out who he really is ...

From the actors we can perhaps single out only Terry O'Quinn. Perfectly played the role of a psycho hiding his image behind decency. But especially liked not good and not manic character O'Quinn, but an intermediate version, when the mask of friendliness on the other side is knocked psychopath, and we notice it in the slight facial abnormalities on the face of Jeri Blake.

In my opinion, the scarecrow is relevant to most people of the metropolis. Who is he, this stranger, living next door, or even more, under the same roof with you and calling you wife; your colleague or your tenant, or maybe just a nicely smiling passerby. You think about finding out the truth, but should you? After all, you may not like it...bohagagagaga. wrote as a bit hackneyed, but okay...

In principle, the movie is not bad and Joseph Ruben can be said to have coped with the task, if the task was to make an average movie, not reaching the level of a full-fledged horror, because the picture has scenes hackneyed (Halloween, Friday the 13th, the glow, etc.), which are already a lot in other films, and frankly weak plot lines, as the search for a secondary character of the killer. Once again, the main obstacle for all the maniacs is an underage girl. Here the question becomes, who else should run away from whom: cut all the men, detectives and run while intact - my advice to maniacs on a note.

But still I think that the movie can be watched. Not bad, but not great either. O'Quinn's performance is good; not a bad idea with the script, though poorly realized by the director, in general give a rather positive result.
