The title of this review is more suited to an action movie, but certainly not a horror movie. I wanted to see the movie only when I learned that the director was Michael Flanegal, who pleased me with an interesting 'Oculus'. After reading the description and one review, with the content of which I slightly disagree. I'll explain later. I decided to turn it on at night.

The plot: the girl Maddie is a deaf-mute, she lives in a country house. 'Alone. Carl! Alone!

I was starting to get a bit worried by the description. So, in the evening, Maddie comes face to face with a psychopathic maniac.

Actress Kate Siegel did 100%. Yes, many pseudo critics will say that the role was too simple, but with her emotions she was able to convey the hopelessness in which she was driven by John Gallagher Jr. The role of a maniac was no more difficult than the role of a deaf-mute. However, John Gallagher Jr. also played a very complex character. I didn't initially know it was John, although I remembered him in 'Cloverfield. 10'. It's odd, since I often memorize faces and names. Apparently it's a reincarnation.

My breathing was too rapid throughout the movie. My heart went into overdrive a lot. And my palms were sweating. I was more worried about the main character than my personal life. The creepy setting was weighing on me, and I started to build theories on how I would act in this situation. My thanks to Flanegal and Siegel for making Maddie not a dumb heroine, but a very smart, very logical girl.

At one point, if I were her, I would have taken that alarm that was screeching like crazy, thrown it on the roof and turned it on to get someone's attention. But that's not the point.

You can also note the 100% critics on 'Rotten tomatoes', which is very strange for our times, and for the horror genre.

'Hush' is a true horror that will keep you going till the very end.

Also the movie will make you nervous and worried.
