An accident occurs on the set of the next episode of A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy's technically perfect glove kills the special effects technicians and injures the husband of Heather Langenkamp, who plays Nancy. Her son disappears in an unexplained manner. When Heather wakes up because of the earthquake, she realizes it was just a dream. However, her husband cut his fingers exactly as it happened in her dream.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is a film from my childhood. I remember when I was about 5 years old, they showed one part every night on TV, and I watched it. I have no idea if I was scared or not at the time, but I clearly remember Freddy Krueger and then for a long time I firmly believed that he lived under my bed.

Now, more than 10 years later, I sat down and rewatched all seven parts, and I can say with confidence that this last film is really worth it. In my opinion, no one can make a film about Freddy better than its creator, Wes Craven. After watching this part, you somehow forget that there are six other parts between this and the first film.

The film is very well made. I can't say that it's very exciting to watch, but I think both fans and those who are encountering Krueger for the first time will appreciate the film. It seems to me that this time Craven has created, I'm not afraid to say it, a true masterpiece.
