While investigating the details of the bloody deeds of an unknown killer, Detective Eric Matthews catches himself thinking that they are very similar to the work of Jigsaw, a notorious maniac who managed to disappear, leaving behind many victims. Matthews turns out to be right. Jigsaw has once again taken up his gruesome trade. Only this time instead of two people, he locks eight people in the room of death with the only way to get out alive. Eight strangers are forced into a game of crazy killer, the stakes of which will be their lives.

What surprised me most about this film is that the sequel is even more powerful than the first in terms of tension and plot twists. Not only are there now several victims instead of two, but at first glance, there are no elaborate constructions like in the first part, yet the traps in this thriller are very cruel.

For example, I wasn't bothered at all by the episode with the key in the stomach, but when a woman is thrown into a pit with used syringes in the sequel, I think it's even more horrific. And it's horrific because this particular element could actually be brought to life. In general, this Saw is the most exciting of the rest.
You probably remember how excited the audience was in the theater when the survivors entered the room from the first part. And I won't even mention the ending—I sat there with my mouth open for another five minutes. In general, this sequel does not need a long commentary, as the staging, the acting, and the overall impression are simply magnificent. It is still unknown how many years will pass before a thriller of a higher level than this one is made.
