The king of the underworld, Frankenstein Casanova, and the psychiatrist Anabelle Leek, who is under his diabolical spell, are plotting sinister plans. To do so, they kidnap Captain Awesome, who has supernatural powers.

To protect their city Champion City from the machinations of evil forces, its best representatives unite into a cohesive team consisting of the Earthmaker, whose main weapon is a shovel, Mr. Fury, who is terrible in anger, and Blue Raji, who excels at using forks and spoons as a fighting weapon.

I came across this film purely by chance. I noticed that there were so many great actors in it and decided to watch it for the sake of interest. What can I say, the film is purely a children's movie. The atmosphere reminds me of the Batman movies that Schumacher made.

Captain Awesome (Greg Kinnear) is kidnapped by the main villain of the underworld, Casanova Frankenstein (Jeffrey Rush). Only 'amateur superheroes' can save him. Among them is the Earthmaker (William Macy), who is excellent with a shovel. Mr. Furious (Ben Stiller), who can only growl furiously. And Blue Raja (Hank Azaria), who uses in combat the spoons and forks he stole from his mother. Over the course of the movie, even weirder fellows will team up with them to save their hometown of Champion City from the clutches of Casanova Frankenstein.

What else is there to say? The movie is purely for kids, silly jokes, childish colorful special effects. If it wasn't for such an attractive cast, I wouldn't have seen this movie.
