There is another parallel between them—a fairly strong melodramatic component. In other words, these are not pure action films, but films that pay close attention to another side of human nature, one that most of us try to hide from others—FEELINGS.

This film tells the story of a police officer who cares for his older mentally disabled brother, who by chance gets involved in a robbery.

The film can be described as both serious and funny, touching and harsh (it is an action film, after all). It is one of those representatives of its genre where not only the fights, but also the acting is of a high standard.
Samo Hung was particularly impressive. It cannot be said that comic roles are not typical for him, but here his character is still quite unusual. He is a thirty-year-old man who perceives the world through the eyes of a six-year-old child. Sammo managed to create a vivid and memorable image, which was performed with surprising realism. I can vouch for the realism. The fact is that I had an example of such a person in front of my eyes as a child. A boy lived in the neighboring yard who also played with the little ones on the street all day long. Once, on my way home from school, I saw a boy hit him. I was sure that as a tall and strong man, he would fight back, but he did something so unexpected for me that the image is still vivid in my mind - he cried!

So, the character Hung reminded me of this man, as if he had been modeled after him, even though he could not have seen him. Perhaps that is why the film affected me so deeply. After all, I am not a heartless creature who watches Asian action films solely for the fights.

Speaking of fights, there are practically none in the film. Except for the finale, and even then it is presented to us in a far less detailed and exciting way than in other films, although it looks good. There's not much else to say.

To sum up, it can be said that this is one of the most unusual and at the same time most shocking films starring Jackie Chan. A wonderful story of a dragon with a big heart.
