As a result of a successful raid, drug mafia boss Chee is caught by the police. It's no secret that police service is both dangerous and difficult. First they risk their lives to catch a criminal. And when he is finally handcuffed, it is no less difficult to prove that he deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars. If the caught has enough money for a good lawyer (and many of them, of course, have more than enough money), then soon the bandit will be back in freedom to run their dirty tricks. But it happens that not everyone is happy with this outcome - one policeman still believes in justice, and therefore will try at all costs to prove the guilt of the acquitted. And this way turns out to be even more difficult, because in such a case he is left alone with the criminal world.

As serious as the plot of this movie may sound, the director is indeed Jackie Chan. He and screenwriter Edward Tang have created an excellent movie in his "signature style" when elements of a good action film are closely intertwined with less serious, frankly comic moments. The theme of a brave policeman against whom the law itself has long been a popular one in the last decades of the last century. But the talented Jackie has managed to tell an entirely new, unlike-the-others story that at times may surprise.

The main character of policeman Jackie not once manages to distinguish himself in the service, because he manages to catch many criminals. Going on a mission, he fully put out, not sparing himself, risking his life and brings the matter to an end. That is the only cunning and dexterity of a clever lawyer jeopardizes the success of the entire operation. Jackie Chan played this character superbly. His character unfolds gradually, with each event that helps the mobster stay free, he becomes more and more disappointed that the police are really fighting for the truth. He is unwilling to understand that a murderer and thief can so easily get away with it. And when the cup of his patience overflows and everyone opposes him, Jackie decides to ensure that the criminal will spend many years behind bars on his own. Jackie Chan showed through his character how a young guy, an optimist can take revenge on a criminal with such malice in his eyes. He played the last scenes with such feeling, showed how well he can not only amuse with jokes, impress with his martial arts, but also experience serious, dangerous emotions when his opponent is very bad.

The other actors played just as strongly. Actress Brigitte Lin embodied the naive, opinionated girl Selina, who made life much more difficult for policeman Jackie. Bill Tun and Kwok Hun Lam wonderfully portrayed the constantly arguing bosses on the screen, one of whom is very concerned about the rating of his department and the other wants to help bring a closed case to a fair end.

The motion picture turned out to be very dynamic, event after event, fight after fight and the story comes to a finale. This time Jackie has outdone himself, as the final showdown in the department store cannot fail to impress. His jump from a great height, through the garlands and the glass display case brought him many fractures. But he still filmed it the way he originally intended, so as not to deceive his viewer's expectations. Judging by the footage shown at the end of the film, each actor performed heavy stunts to the maximum, without the help of stuntmen. Even the girls had a hard time. But the result was great, Jackie added a great film to his filmography and showed us how much he loves movies and that he's ready to risk his life for them.
