I'll be honest up front. I'm not an MMA fan. Also, I was expecting this movie to be the millionth time of recycling the same underdog plot from Rocky that we have all watched multiple times before. However, I was not expecting the slight changes in the family drama they had going on between the fight scenes. That's the story that caught my attention and held it throughout the movie, and that piqued my interest in the main character's success in the fighting matches.
