Story Movie

Elysium 4K 2013 Ultra HD 2160p
In the year 2154, there are two classes of people: the very wealthy, living on a clean, man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, living on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. A ruthless government official, the ambitious Defense Secretary Delacour, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. When the loser Max is cornered, he agrees to take on a difficult mission that, if successful, will not only save his life, but can also lead to equality of these polarized worlds.

Review 4K Movie

The film is interesting, it has well-made moments, for example, the Elysium station itself, for all its fantasticness. And the limousine shuttle of this loser manager? It can be seen that the spacecraft is conceived as an analogue of a very expensive and luxurious modern machine. In my opinion, this one detail of the footage shows us how great the designer who worked on the film is.

I will not disassemble the plot, this is not my mind, especially since the film is really interesting to watch, and what is wrong and not there has long been sorted out by professionals. If you don't fixate on inconsistencies, then for the first time the action on the screen even captures.

I will dwell on one idea that is important in my opinion: logically, with such medical and other technologies, such robots and such capabilities of the elites of Elysium, there should have been no human masses left on Earth for a long time. Well, individual wild flocks, well, isolated villages - well, maybe. People are no longer needed, well, why are there people at that plant if there are such robots? Yes, they would have been annihilated a long time ago - all these broad masses of the people who roam in some, terrible to say, "humanitarian" way. And the planet itself, cleansed of the unpleasant traces of the previous socio-technological order, would flourish as a reserve of untouched nature and a source of uninterrupted positive emotions for the inhabitants of Elysium. Moreover, this aforementioned Elysium would have stood for a long time as a magnificent city on the planet itself, an almost immortal, healthy to disgust elite would have been living in it, plying for entertainment for the sake of between the orbital and terrestrial cities.

But there are still broad masses of the people in the film, otherwise it would not have been possible to show that very struggle and overcoming, one would have to come up with a different plot, a different story, a different drama.

In general, the conditional claim on my part is solely that there is an acute contradiction between the level of isolation of the elites, the level of technology, on the one hand, and some absolutely unthinkable number of poor people on the planet, on the other. Judge for yourself, all these people, that is to say - managers and elites, commanded by the heroine Jodie Foster - would they endure an extra, worthless human population, and even come up with an imitation of labor activity, so that there was money to pay for and at least some help to provide?
