Kong and a group of scientists set off on a dangerous journey in search of the giant's home. Among them is the girl Jia, the only one who knows how to communicate with Kong. Suddenly, they encounter an enraged Godzilla destroying everything in his path. The battle of the two titans, provoked by unknown forces, is only a small part of the mystery hidden in the bowels of the Earth.

I often write about the need for a film to find its target audience. I went to the movies to watch a cool blockbuster, I wanted action scenes, I wanted cool music, I wanted to laugh - and I chose the right movie. Yes, most likely many will call it a one-off blockbuster - but nevertheless, the time spent on it is not at all a pity, so much the movie came to their liking.

The coolest thing about this film is the separation of storylines, each of which had its own purpose and its own mood: Brian Tyree Henry made laugh and brought positive emotions, while Godzila and Kong added action, entertainment and excitement. A very cool interweaving of these scenes: the battle scenes did not have time to bore, humor diluted the tension, the whole film flew by like an instant, it looked so easy.

Probably, the lion's credit for this belongs to Junkie XL, who created such an amazing atmosphere with his compositions that it sank to goosebumps on all epic scenes.

I was very pleased that the film was not intertwined with ridiculous love lines, which would draw attention from the monster movie to the lyrical theme. Intense confrontation of huge monsters with each other, and not only with each other to the amazing music and sounds of the crumbling city - exactly what I expected from this film. By the way, regarding the destruction - it was very cool to see Kong on a skyscraper, like in old films, and I was constantly trying to mentally calculate how much money, effort and time it would take to restore Hong Kong, which literally crumbled into ashes.
