The year is 2242. The earth is doomed. Among the 50 million chosen ones flying to the new planet is the pregnant daughter of the ship's captain. Her boyfriend Noah is not on the lists, so he has to trick him into boarding and pretend to be a janitor. While most of the passengers and crew are in suspended animation, Noah, in the company of his experienced partner Clay, is engaged in his daily routine and gets to know his colleagues. But soon an aggressive alien life form is found on board, which threatens the very existence of mankind.

Review 4K Movie

Bruce smiles at death again. As part of a cleaning service specially recruited for the film from real professionals in their field, Willis once again shows his tact. His smooth acting in no way can get out and make young actors feel out of place. And no matter how much Bruce's hero touches the neck of a flask or the edge of a glass during the plot, his skill cannot be taken away from him.

Well, now to the picture itself. The plot of the film strains the viewer literally from the first frame. The dying world, the outgoing ship is the last hope of mankind, you will not see such hopelessness anywhere else. The world panic and the reigning chaos, so realistically shown against this background, forced me not only to throw off a light touch of drowsiness caused by the previous blockbuster with the ageless Bruce, but also to start shivering. Even the department store Christmas sales scenes are no match for the hype on set. It is difficult to imagine the state of the viewer if it were not for the director's ingenious move - bringing Clay onto the stage performed by Bruce Willis. His maximum confidence on his face and skillfully played carefree disposition act as a good sedative. It seems that even the last rat knows Clay on this huge gloomy ship, poured as if entirely of cast iron, and soon the main character, a gypsy named Noah, cannot resist his charm. Since the ship has already been mentioned - this technological colossus, it will not be superfluous to focus on its architecture, which completely destroys all concepts seen before. The first thing that catches the eye of a clever viewer is two windows that act as portholes (it was in front of them, like in a low-budget cinema, that the team members sat on empty chairs, mixed with medical service and cleaning specialists). These scuffs and streaks of space dirt on the delicate surface of the plexiglass speak for themselves. Just do not think by mistake about the carelessness of the cleaning specialists, for in the future we will see their diligence in performing their duties. Clay's keen eye immediately finds even the most inconspicuous and invisible spots and immediately draws the attention of Noah - his hardworking junior employee. I will allow myself to linger on the ship's toilet stalls - only the toilets of a rural bar could have inspired this design. Yes, this is undoubtedly a bold and strong move that is stuffed with the picture. Here you will find moonshine made of acid for stronger lovers who despise regular beer, and exciting futuristic barrels with magnifiers to surely beat at the enemy, and not at the hull of a starship, and ... although no, it would be dishonorable to reveal all the secrets in one review. And even though some plot-forming lines of the script are left to the mercy of the same viewer, by the middle of the film it is already rather robust overloaded with dense and rich content, but the images are skillfully revealed. If you like scenes where calmness gives way to alertness, then they are diluted with a joke, and then with horror, which not everyone can display, that is, there are some. The only thing that cannot be found in this film is LGBT representatives, because the selective attitude of agent Bruce Willis to scripts is strict and adamant - the idol of millions must carry his role through time and raise his trunk - whether futuristic or ordinary - only against the enemies of America.

I think that quite a lot has already been said about the quality of the gap offered for viewing, but just in case, I will repeat it again: a unique plot, unusual lighting, a game indistinguishable from real life, hand-made special effects, daring scenery, dangerous stunts, a shocking ending. This whole cocktail is not only able to penetrate properly, but even to carry it. I mean in the past, some thirty years ago.
