This film could be a worthy sequel to some cool sci-fi action movie like "Star Trek". He could probably win a couple of prestigious visual effects awards. The acting talents of the guys who took part in it would surely have received a warm welcome from critics.

But this will definitely not happen, because "Star Frontier" is the most complete game and the most mediocre movie from among those that have ever seen.

"Kinopoisk" recently published the material "Why Bruce Willis, John Travolta and other stars are filmed in bad action films that no one knows about?", Which tells about just such "feature films". Cosmic Sin is one of them.

The plot of this hat is too primitive to dwell on in detail. One can only say that "Star Frontier" could well be considered a continuation of the same cosmic feces called "The Breach", which also starred Willis, Corey Large and the script for which was written by the director of this film - Edward Drake. And yet, "Star Frontier" is a very weak implementation of the idea of ​​the computer game DOOM, in which the military has to teleport to another place to fight alien creatures.

To be honest, it is completely unclear to me why it was necessary at the beginning of "Frontier" to tell the viewer about what happened on Earth and in Space over several centuries. If this was a Star Wars reference, then the creators of Frontier were clearly overconfident in seeking to be like George Lucas. According to the synopsis, the year is 2524, BUT: cars from earthlings are the same as they were in the 21st century (it seems that Frank Grillo cared a lot about his pickup, since the car served him for five (!!!) centuries. Apparently, for two dozen the producers who invested money in this "movie" did not find the required amount of bucks so that the filmmakers could add the entourage of the future to the frame (although what am I talking about, the film was created by amateurs!)

What can be understood from the film is that even in 2524, men remained primitive creatures who are only interested in sitting in a bar, drinking and, of course, looking at naked female tits in a strip club. FAK! It's the 26th century, and you are showing an ordinary bar in which all sorts of drunks look at each other suspiciously and dream of starting a fight ?! Didn't director / writer Edward Drake, and co-writer, OUTSTANDING Actor Corey Large have any more thoughts?

Large is generally a very interesting character, because he is a director, screenwriter, producer and of course an actor in those films that he touches. Obviously, a guy who does not know anything at all about acting is thus trying to prove to himself, first of all, that he is the same representative of the film industry as much more sophisticated and professional guys. I don't want to write their names in this review, otherwise Corey Lard will read it and imagine himself to be the devil knows who!

Initially, he produced and starred in the same films - such as romantic comedies, in which Large himself often played the alpha male (such as in "The Theory of Seduction"). And then the guy wanted to play war and began to spud a new genre. And it seems that he found an actor he loved (or the actor himself nailed to the producer who supplies a lot of greenery in order to ensure himself a decent old age.

Count it yourself: "Wedge by Wedge", "Prince", "Welcome to Paradise", "Salvation", "Raiders", "Valuable Cargo", "First Murder", "Act of Vengeance", "Breach", "Star Frontier" - these are all those films that Large produced and in which Bruce his mother Willis starred! But there are still four projects ahead (three of which will be staged by the same Drake) - "Apex", "Gasoline Alley", "Reactor" and "American Siege", which are produced by you know who and among the stars will be filmed there you know who !

If you go back to the "Star Frontier", then this is just mediocrity, not a movie. If you decide to watch this cartoon to the end, I think you have the right to count on the medal "For Courage".
