The police in Hong Kong and China, together with Interpol, are preparing a large-scale operation to eliminate an international gang of drug traffickers. The idea of the operation is to get one of the leaders of the drug spree out of a Chinese prison and through him to reach the top of the organized pyramid.

Who will be able to carry out such a daring and risky plan, if not the Superpolice. Kevin Cheng, familiar to us from the first series of the film, for some wrongdoing, now staying in the post, is called to carry out an unusual Interpol operation. The director of Chinese Interpol, a charming captain, is assigned to support him.

A brawler with all his existing and non-existing body parts, Comrade Jackie Chan is a cult figure in the cinematic reality of martial arts and stunt work. His actions over the surrounding objects in the comfort of defeating his enemies are mesmerizing and unforgiving, with a nice and necessary comedic touch. His films are not vulgar, not brash, once a bit violent, but always enjoyable and really full of martial arts.

This, the third installment, came out four years after the second, in its arsenal, however, having more firearms and technique work than intricate and tricky combat fights and stunts. But the latter are also, as always, very dangerous and spectacular.

The drug mafia is spreading its tentacles far and wide, already reaching the point of transporting drugs in corpses. Under the auspices of Interpol, a joint Sino-Hong Kong operation is devised to infiltrate their agents into the Shaibat drug cartel. On the Hong Kong side is assigned Kevin Chang (Jackie Chan), nicknamed "superpolice", on the Chinese side - Jessica Yang (Michelle Yeoh), a brawler with guns, which holds even more stunts than Jackie Chan. Together, the characters become more and more entrenched in the ranks of drug dealers: they rescue 'Pantera' from prison and, together with him, rub in the trust of Shaibat, towards the finale after all, with the help of May (Maggie Chung)'s stupidity, revealing their true face.

In fact, the plot of the picture settles into the first 10-15 minutes of the picture, thereafter giving in only to the demands of a martial arts comedy thriller. Yeoh bombs so much that even Chan might become jealous of this fragile-looking girl's abilities. But the actor himself holds his own, first performing a very dangerous flight on a helicopter rope ladder in the final bout, then fist-fighting on top of a moving train. Finally, a rabid gun scene on the Thai-Cambodian border visiting a local jungle general will amuse fans of explosions and huge bursts of fire coming from the muzzles of pistols, machine guns and even grenade launchers. A little hell happens in the jungle nowadays, splinters fly, people die by flies (I didn't notice the napalm, unfortunately) and even tanks with one and a half kilometers of guns come out (from bamboo garages apparently) (I think a rather rare scene in action movies with Jackie Chan happens here - people die by gunshots from him).

Overall, the film looks stable and high-quality cinematic product with Jackie Chan, but I liked the second part of the "Police Story" more, thankfully there was a lot of tricks of the plot and characters are more interesting.
