Preliminarily plunged into no less fascinating adventures on the planet Sakaar, becoming a participant in gladiatorial battles under the patronage of An Dvost Gast or Grandmaster - the narcissist, imperious and arrogant ruler of the planet.

"Thor Ragnarok" UHD is an endless stream of verbal and event action. But the flow is completely unbalanced. In the course of viewing, an obsessive impression is created that the director does not always fully understand the direction in which he wants to direct his picture. On the one hand, the ongoing global events have a sublime drama and seriousness. On the other hand, a world that opens to the viewer of an amazing beauty, full of charismatic characters and comical situations, can not help but generate a regular buffoonery. And the whole film is saturated with such a contradiction. It is evident that being primarily a comedian, Vaititi tried to bring as much humor to the tape, humor as appropriate, and sometimes not very, crazy and frankly stupid, making laugh in the voice or causing bewilderment. If he had full creative freedom, the film would have sharks with machine guns, and maybe even bears with Kalashnikov assault rifles at the ready, soaking sparkling Hochma right and left. Even when Vaititi tries to create a drama, in the end he still gets a comedy. Indeed, in the case of this tape, the dramatic component is not the main one for the director, but rather serves as an occasion for creating another comical situation. And, in fact, I can not say that this is very bad. Definitely, moments, the film still lacks seriousness. Sometimes jokes arise when you do not expect them at all, for example, in the middle of an exalted monologue about domination in the universe or during a fierce battle. But this film differs from the two previous films of the trilogy. If the first pictures were serious epics about the indestructible god of thunder, then Ragnarok turns Torus into a crazy series of Rick and Morty, making his characters phantasmagoric freaks with an idiot and creating, with overflowing not always appropriate humor, but so bright and a memorable world.

Action in the tape is not something that would be very much, but the one that is - looks incredible. Very pleased with the cameo, Wall Lee and Doctor Strange. Separately, I would like to single out the character of Jeff Goldblum - Grandmaster: bright, let him too undiscovered to the end, but still causing great interest in his behavior and pitch.
