After the utterly disastrous third installment, I still had hope for a more competent sequel, but as it turned out, it was completely in vain. The latest installment “gives” viewers the opportunity to see the beginning of the life story of bloodthirsty freaks. Frankly speaking, the story is completely unremarkable—these freaks are simply shown as teenagers, but not in the forest, but in a hospital ward. Then the plot jumps forward in time, and the viewer is once again subjected to familiar plot devices. In other words, the promised prequel takes up about ten minutes of the total running time, then the years fly by and a new batch of fresh young meat appears on the horizon. In this case, the title “prequel” serves only as a cheap gimmick.

The only positive aspect is the genuinely beautiful girls, but in this case, beauty cannot save even the film. Appearance is far from acting talent, especially since the formulaic script spoils the first and subsequent impressions.

But while they try to appease the viewer with the external factor of sex appeal, sometimes even successfully, natural resources have been completely forgotten. Now the action will take place indoors, and the eye will not be able to enjoy that popular forest. In short, it's pure boredom.

The maniacal incompetence completely ruins the mood. There is a complete lack of ingenuity, as well as the trademark bloodthirstiness. They act too spontaneously and even panic, but they can be understood, because these crazy women would scare anyone. The murder scenes are filmed in a frankly amateurish manner, a complete failure in this regard.
