Captain Lam (Danny Lee) an aging police officer nearing retirement is forced to help his American nephew, Buffalo (Conan Lee), find a Chinese bride. Buffalo falls in love with a girl named Ellen, who accidentally witnesses a murder, and now the trio is being pursued by a gang of drug dealers.

It’s noticeably weaker than the first installment. Chow Yun-fat has been replaced by Danny Lee a solid actor, but of a completely different caliber. Conan Lee suffered a serious injury during filming he fell off a lamppost and spent most of the movie in the background, which kills half the spectacle. The script is loose, and the first hour drags. Only the finale saves the day it’s dynamic and features a good fight. For fans of the genre, it’s watchable, but it’s best not to set your expectations too high.
