The generation that grew up on the Sonic game should experience a wild sense of nostalgia when watching. Although I was not a big fan of the game, I had a certain respect for this game and simply could not miss such a movie novelty.

The film, of course, is rowing according to its own wave, using the main trends set by the genre many years ago - an ultra-strong creature, an evil scientist, a desire to seize power over the world, etc. In fact, this is approximately what was expected, but as always I want something new and unknown, a film in which future events were not read in advance, and the final was not foreseen almost from the very beginning. Alas, this is not about this film and it was created specifically for the memories of the bright past and the continuous game in SEGA. It is mainly intended for a younger audience, for whom Sonic can become a cool and sweet hero, but, not knowing his “playing” story, for today's children he will remain “one of”. Oh, such a movie about 20 years ago!

Sonic is a children's version of Flash. In general, a lot of interweaving with the famous character of the DCs universe. This whole story looks very, very easy, the claimed one and a half hours flies in the blink of an eye, the events are simple and understandable even to small viewers. What does this film carry besides the cartoon races and the cute look of a funny alien? The last item from the “fawn” list of Sonic said - find a real friend! Perhaps this moment is the main semantic component of the picture. It doesn’t matter who you are outside and where you come from, the main thing is what you have inside. Sonic inside had directness and childish naivety, for which he would instantly become an idol of the younger generation. However, with all this, he is also very serious and smart in those moments when it is especially necessary. He will become a true friend who will not deceive and betray, who will always be there, like lightning, in an instant, if necessary. And for all this formation of friendship and rethinking the situation of the character of James Marsden, it is a pleasure to watch.

The role of the main negative character is played by the famous, many unloved, but definitely cult and excellent comedian Jim Carrey. His doctor Robotnik is a very intelligent and purposeful villain, causing only one feeling - hatred. People like Robotnik always put themselves above the rest and, at the slightest opportunity, will strike in the back. Yes, his character in this film is fooling around and grimacing (a common thing for Carrie), but at the same time he is very cruel and terrible. A nasty personality that you absolutely don't want to see, even on the screen.

Easy, funny and very moving film, which is simple and fun to watch. I recommend everyone to watch, preferably a full family, with children. Not everyone is truly familiar with Sonic, but he instantly falls into the soul with his naivety.
