After his wife dies in a car accident, the hero discovers that he can communicate with the dead. For a modest fee, he successfully gets rid of the ghosts that he himself previously sent. It is a common mistake to think that this film was meant to be a horror film. It is a comedy, and the emphasis in this film is on humor, not blood and horror. Peter Jackson has made a beautiful film that can be rewatched many times. And the mesmerizing music by Danny Elfman complements the picture, gives it a special charm and attraction.

The plot is very interesting and absorbing. The actors are chosen perfectly: all coped with it on the 'excellent'. Fox is very suitable for the role. Trini Alvarado is an excellent actress, that's out of the question. And the others are great, but I would especially like to point out the investigator. A very well written character, played brilliantly! Without him, the movie would have lost a lot of its humor. The special effects are on the level, but that's not the main thing here. The main thing in this movie is the atmosphere.

All in all, if you like movies like 'Beetlejuice', 'Ghostbusters', 'Ghost' and 'Back to the Future', this movie is for you. It's a light and talented film, unfortunately they don't make such films nowadays.
