How to live 28 years in 140 minutes? - Watch the story finale from QuickStop. Clerks 3 finally made its way to digital release this week. A movie that has quite a long history in the making and several possible origins. But a movie that just had to come out the way we saw it.

Clerks 3 is not just an hour and a half of nostalgia. It's a true tribute to the period when a group of aspiring filmmakers made a movie at their workplace on the night shift, inviting friends and acquaintances, and, borrowing a modest 27k bucks. This film blurs the lines between the Jersey Universe and the people who created it. We see how Dante and Randal's story ended, and how Kevin Smith's began. You could say the circle has closed. We've seen the full development of both the characters in the film and the people who created them.

Of course, Smith has made fun of his own heart attack for the second time. You have to have time, something to do in this life before you're going to flip out at any moment. But he did it already then, 28 years ago, when he began his journey into the movie world, discovering new acting talents, building his own universe and expressing his style, which has created a fan base of millions around the world. Yes, not all of the actors became world stars, but they all remember each other and are still friends today. Jeff Anderson, who resented Smith, returned to the role of Randall after many years, and just transformed, as did the character himself. Pretty much every actor from the previous two films is back here, and some even in a way we didn't expect, but the character played an important part in the story. Smith's daughter only got cameos this time around.

The humor in the movie is still just as great. As always, there are jokes about different generations and modern geek culture. But the main moments will only be understandable to fans. It's some wicked fan service. You like it and feel immersed in the movie and start to feel close to the characters. It's relatable here and contributes to the emotional state of the viewer during the finale. And it's very strong here. It brought a tear to my eye.

Overall, Clerks 3 is a film of gratitude to those who have helped Smith throughout his career. Appealing to the viewer about what matters most. And if everything around you seems black and white, it doesn't mean that life is like that. It's only colored and bright because of what you do and what you live. As they say in the movie, every hero should have his own movie with a happy ending.

p. s. This is a great ending to Smith's career. It puts a fat point on it and the ending is perfectly conveyed. Also, Smith has tried his hand at different roles throughout his career. Some of the work is frustrating, and in the last 15 years nothing has paid off at all. His TV series part hasn't even been touched. Smith, on the other hand, knows how to promise a lot of sequels. Still, I'd like to see the new Shoemakers, the second Tusk (where's Moose Jaws?), and something else. But there is one BUT! Smith can get carried away with self-replication, playing on feelings of nostalgia and self-irony!
