Ah, what a wrong, criminal, example-setting, charming, beloved movie! After a movie like this (or maybe it's just this one), prince charming loses its relevance and bad guys take their place.

I've watched Ferris dozens of times, I can't even remember the first time. Just the sight of Broderick's sly face made me smile, instantly putting me in a good mood. The positivity that is bouncing right off the viewer outweighs, in my opinion, the not-so-legitimate ideas that Ferris uses. Yes, he's a lazy, cheating, hacker and petty manipulator, but he's charming ("Long Years of Practice")! But he's a good friend and a great boyfriend to his girlfriend (oooh, what a tautology)

Now, the movie may look a little retro-tinged, but what music, what jokes, nothing flat, vulgar or silly! Young, handsome guys, funny situations, adrenaline from the last race - in general, positivity in its purest form. And the idea, not quite new, or maybe not new at all, but no less relevant:

Life flies very fast, if one day you don't stop and look around, you can miss everything.
