Continuation of the amusing adventures of the merry couple - Wayne and Gort. A year has passed. Wayne and rock-singer Cassandra love each other, but the beautiful Chinese woman has a new producer. New producer, new intrigue. And Wayne had a vision: the late Jim Morrison himself told him to organize a concert. A concert called "Wainstock" to bring together superstars like Aerosmith.

So it's been a year since the first film about the adventures of cronies Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dan Carvey), and a year since its filming, and now 'Wayne's World' opens its doors again.

There is an unwritten law of filmmaking that states: 'The sequel is worse than the original'. But this time, the second part is quite worthy of its predecessor, and sometimes even surpasses it.

In 'Wayne's World 2' we see the same company that we liked before: Wayne and Garth are running their own show, but they live separately from their parents, and Cassandra (Tia Carrere) - Wayne's girlfriend, is still trying to become a rock star. The setting hasn't changed much either: the same car, the same basement, the same club....

But the action has been added - and now Wayne, who was brought to Jim Morrison in a dream by a strange naked Indian in the desert (to enlighten the protagonist), is trying to organize a real rock festival in his town - WAYNEstock. This movie is devoted to his attempts.

The humor is as always on top. And if you liked the first movie, the jokes in the second one will not disappoint you either. Mike Myers' trademark image will not let the viewer get bored. And parodies of famous movies ('Thelma and Louise'), commercials, and just some unremarkable aspects of life (an episode on a radio show) will revive memories of the first part.

In fact, 'Wayne's World 2' was able to take the best of the first movie and bring it back to the big screen. So the appearance of another producer who has his eye on the beautiful Cassandra cannot be avoided. And with his role perfectly coped Christopher Walken. And this, by the way, is still an incomplete list of stars.

The movie featured the legendary band Aerosmith in full, and in two episodes, performing something in front of the audience. The ending was particularly good.

From the 'beautiful of this world' we will meet two of the best blondes of the last century (let me remind you that 'Wayne's World 2' was released in 1993):

1) It's Kim Basinger as Garth's charming new girlfriend. The scenes with her are a real gift to the viewer. What can I say - lucky guy.

2) An episode with Drew Barrymore, who plays a secretary in a studio where Wayne makes a very good impression on her. The scene also has a little sexual innuendo (direct text to be exact). This is what it turns out to be to attract girls !

The result is a good comedy with bright humor, parodies and jokes, with a naked Indian and rock stars, with Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, which is not inferior to the first film. So: 'Welcome to 'WAYNEstock.
