Before watching this movie, I was in the mood for a detective thriller, with a twisted plot, where you have to include your logic to try to unravel all the intrigue yourself. But, from the very first few minutes, it's clear that I was set up wrong. "Black humor," that's the film's main superiority. That is, 'Out of Sight' is a detective, but with black humor. It's that very ingredient that makes it, so much more interesting than the average detective. Damn, I hope I made myself clear.

The movie doesn't have a well-defined plot. I mean, it varies dramatically from one act to the next. For example, the film shows a scene and then abruptly moves on to the next scene, with an interpretation so many years later. And that, gives a kind of discomfort. But I'm inclined to think that the creators purposely made it that way, so that the viewer could get confused. In general, from all this, we must conclude that it is quite difficult to describe the plot. But, the fact that the film, shot in this particular style, it does not get worse, just the opposite, more and more attracts.

"Black Humor. As I said, that's the main draw of the whole thing. As you watch it, you can laugh repeatedly, even where you wouldn't normally laugh. Well, not so much that you can sit there and laugh, it's not some super comedy after all. But, a frequent smile on your face, will be assured.

The dialogue, without any exaggeration, is gorgeous. In some places, quite funny, not forgetting the black humor, in some places, superfluous, but all this is only a plus.

The sex scenes were, let's just say, not the best, and could have added some fire. But, the creators did not pay much attention to this important part. Let us not judge them so harshly. Surely, other viewers will be satisfied with these scenes, but I don't belong to their category. I must emphasize that this mishap should not be considered a minus.

Perhaps I will conclude that there are no minuses in the film. At least I did not notice them. Because it was very difficult to do this. But, don't be so flattered, the film does not look perfect. Perhaps other viewers of the film, will find, or have already found these very minuses, but then again, I wasn't really looking for them.

The film's director, Steven Soderbergh, has been surprising me lately. I mean, most of the films I've seen that he's directed have not disappointed me, but on the contrary, have made me look more and more closely, at this director, since, before, I hadn't really noticed him. Mr. Soderbergh, shot this film so well, so perfectly, that at the end can only lead to one thought, he is a director, of great caliber. Fact!

George Clooney. The actor is superb, played, well, you know how, in this movie.

Jennifer Lopez. I had no idea she was in the movie. Because when she is shown, you can't immediately guess that it's J. Lo. As an actress, she's great. And played in the movie, well, let's shine some logic.

Ving Rhames. The actor is quite interesting and great, but unfortunately, he gets caught up in, supporting roles. In this movie, he can't really be singled out, but the fact that he plays in it is only a plus.

In general, all this actors color, just confirms the fact that the movie is interesting. By the way, there are a couple of good actors as well - Don Cheadle and Isaiah Washington. What, don't they know each other?

In conclusion, I'll say a few words. Everything I said above is true. I may have overdone it somewhere, or underdone it altogether, but that doesn't change anything. In short, the movie is great, not a masterpiece or great, but great. Fact!
