The young people's feelings are just in time to blossom, and it is not even class differences that will put the lovers to the test, but the iceberg that stands in the way of the liner, which was considered unsinkable.

Review 4K Movie

This movie marked the beginning of a new era. The history of world cinema is now divided into two parts: before Titanic, after Titanic.

Unreal fees of the movie - 1800000 dollars, 11 Oscars, boundless love of viewers from all over the world, the rabid popularity of Leonardo DiCaprio, unceasing for five years! In general, there was a period when only Titanic was talked about. Of course, now after 11 years (just imagine 11 years have passed!!) they still talk about the movie, but mostly as a movie-legend, a movie-standard, a movie-dream, a cult blockbuster of all times and peoples. For me, this movie will forever be a symbol of my childhood, on par with The Lion King and Forrest Gump.

How many times have I seen Titanic? That's a good question! If only I knew the answer! But every time I watch this movie, my emotions are only heightened. During these three hours that the movie takes place, hundreds of problems of human life are shown, some of which are answered, and some of which are not answered to this day. On the screen we see hundreds of characters. We see good and evil. Justice and injustice. Honesty and meanness. Insane suffering and boundless happiness. Social inequality and negative visions of prosperity. And of course we see love. The kind of love that there are not enough words to describe, and there are simply no words.

And certainly the love between Jack and Rose is the main story line. Totally different people. In character, in social status. And finding happiness in their love for each other. Rose, who has lived her life not knowing who she is or what she wants out of life. She's never seen freedom. She never had the chance to make up her own mind, others did it for her. And even her engagement to Cal Hockley was her mother's initiative. In Jack, who had saved her, and saved her, as she said, not only from death, but from a life of secular 'captivity', she had found freedom, a life she had not seen, but of which she wanted so much to be a part.

Jack found in Rosa a deep feeling he had not yet experienced. He fell in love with her at first sight. Remember, he saw her on the top deck. I think the main thing that attracted Jack was that Rose was different from other society ladies, that she was not so corrupt and her soul was pure. Rose is not attracted to the life of a rich wife, she has other values. These reasons and brought the young people together.

The ship itself is the main symbol of the movie. The ship is the same life in a somewhat reduced format. There are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. There are the qualities I have already listed. During the crisis of life, the nature of a person is revealed, just as during the wreck of the Titanic we see the true nature of each person. For example, Cal's example of using a small child to save his own skin is characteristic. And of course we see the strength of Jack and Rose's love. The strongest and most amazing moment, at least for me, is when Rose has already boarded the dinghy and is going down to the water, she looks at Jack moving away from her, he looks at her and in an instant Rose jumps from the dinghy onto the ship and runs to the only man who loves and appreciates her, who understands her. The strongest moment!

Naturally the final scene, when the great Titanic sinks deep into the ocean and Jack and Rose are surrounded by thousands of screaming for help, drowning people in the water. Jack asks Rose to fulfill his request that she live a long and happy life and die in a warm bed, but not here, not now. I just sobbed here.

In general, the movie is full of such strong moments! For example, the creepy moment when the mother is rocking her children, telling them a story, knowing that they will die. It's insanely creepy. And there are many examples like that. I think all the drama of such moments is so well felt thanks to the great director James Cameron. Bravo! The direction is unparalleled. It's hard to imagine how you can shoot such a brilliant creation with thousands of people. Bravo once again!

Now a little about the actors. First of all, I would like to say about a huge injustice on the part of the Academy. I'm talking about Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar nomination. And my opinion doesn't depend on the fact that I've been raving about him for months. It's been years, the actor has proven himself worthwhile and insanely talented. It seems to me that then just the rabid popularity of DiCaprio and played a role in this nonnomination. He was a great fit for his character. And deserved at least a nomination. That's my opinion.

Kate Winslet played her role wonderfully. Ve-lee-ko-lept-no! Subtle, graceful, brilliantly conveying even the most insignificant emotions.

I would like to mention Gloria Stuart separately. All her monologues, especially the final one, shocked me. I didn't think that at her age you can play like that, it's a pity she didn't get an Oscar.

And of course, it is impossible not to mention the music to the movie. And in particular about the song My heart will go on performed by Celine Dion. It's an incredible song. No wonder that in all kinds of charts this song stayed on top for more than one month!

In the end, I would like to say that Titanic is more than a movie. This incomparable creation will live forever. And our great-grandchildren will still watch this movie and think that there used to be movies.
