Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse, a young childless couple, move to Bramford, New York. Very soon they get acquainted with eccentric neighbors, Minnie and Roman Castevet, who time and again impose on them as friends.

One day Rosemary sees a strange vision, as if she is sailing on a yacht with Guy, who turns into a demon and rapes her. A few days later, the girl learns that she is pregnant. A series of strange events leads Rosemary to guess that their neighbors are members of a satanic cult.

And if some Michael Bay had made this movie, it would have ended differently - good would have triumphed over evil and the world would have been saved. Polanski filled his picture with a terrible hopelessness, imbued with irrational and beyond the logic of a sane person sense of duty and love.

'Rosemary's Baby' is not another (or the first) adaptation of the story of the coming to Earth of the son of Satan, it is not 'Omen' or 'Constantine'.
