Accustomed to the "Marvel" screenings and a lot of action, the viewer will be disappointed: Kenneth Brana created a real English detective. Slow, gradually developing, a little pathos, theatrically beautiful. The latter is facilitated by painstaking attention to detail and surroundings: the chic interior of the train, the perfectly fitting costumes of characters, handmade embroidered handkerchiefs, expensive pipes of wood. He is certainly good and feels the detective of Agatha Christie like no other, but because of the intimacy and closeness of what is happening on the screen there is a feeling that only two hours are only him - a magnificent detective who speaks directly and straightforwardly to people what is said about thinks them, and acutely senses the imperfection of this world, which "protrudes like a nose on the face". Because of this, the other characters of the movie suddenly become themselves heroes-scenery, which carry no more functions than a red kimono embroidered with gold.
