After sending his family out of town, architect Evan stays home alone over the weekend to finish an urgent project. Two cute girls in their twenties, soaked to the skin, knock on his door and say they are lost. Evan could not even imagine how helping these seemingly innocent creatures would turn out.

In my purely subjective opinion, this film has both positive and negative aspects. Which is quite obvious, really. On the one hand, it's worth mentioning the shortcomings. This film is rather weak when viewed as a thriller. Even despite the magnificent Keanu. The events in it are, in most cases, predictable, which somewhat kills the intrigue. It is also worth mentioning the drawn-out introduction and long prelude to the main plot of the film. But, again, I am only speaking for myself. The idea behind this film is simple and banal. It shows the problem of “infidelity” in relationships, as well as how people (in this case, men) effortlessly succumb to vice and lust.

However, on the other hand, this problem is very relevant. And I want to talk in more detail about the merits of the film. Although the plot is banal, it shows how easily people succumb to temptation. It also shows that there are people who take advantage of this temptation, destroying human lives. I am talking about the two girls. They probably think they are doing the right thing by exposing the cheaters and punishing them “like that.” However, in my opinion, this punishment is excessive, because they kill and break the law. “This is about today...” as N. Mikhalkov says. And indeed, that's how it turns out. A weak thriller, but overall a decent film that shows how easy it is to ruin a person's life.
