Story Movie

A policeman and his brother were transporting a criminal computer expert to testify in court. On the airplane in which they were carrying this computer genius, they were attacked by terrorists. They blew up a piece of paneling and jumped out with parachutes, taking with them this valuable guy they needed so badly for their "job". In the process, the policeman's brother died, and he was removed from the investigation, as it was required by the rules of investigation. But the policeman, of course, could not leave it like that. He starts searching for the killers.

Despite the fact that the movie did not justify itself at the box office, it is definitely worthy of great attention. After watching it, there are quite a lot of positive impressions and emotions. And first of all because of how much the creators of the movie tried to cause a strong delight in the viewer, and the movie itself turned out to be fascinating and interesting.

The plot of the movie tells about an ordinary policeman, who together with his brother delivered by air flight a criminal, a professional in the computer business. But together with passengers in the airplane there are dangerous intruders who stole this computer expert right during the flight to use him for their own purposes. After their visit, a disaster almost occurs if the plane damaged by them did not make an emergency landing in time. After such an incident, the suspended policeman decides to conduct his own investigation to find the criminals, and all possible ways lead him to the world of air sports.

Before us is a sports action movie, the work of famous director John Badham, dedicated to one of the popular extreme sports - parachuting. Also, as well as released three years earlier similar picture 'On the crest of the wave', the work is saturated with excellent shots of the world of freedom and enjoyment of the main characters. But in this case, this freedom is expressed in the endless sky with clouds floating in it, and among them we see people landing, doing amazing tricks and acrobatic movements in the air, and below them we see a wonderful panorama of the area filmed from the air. Such is the unusual atmosphere of the movie, and it's complemented by a superbly upbeat soundtrack. But despite this relaxing atmosphere, the film is not lacking in quality scenes of fights, shootings and good humor.

In addition, among the considerable advantages of the movie should be emphasized the excellent cast. Wesley Snipes, one of the brightest heroes of action movies, who played a policeman undergoing training in extreme sports, and Gary Busey, a popular 'villain' in action movies of the 80-90s, who played the role of a charismatic leader of 'air' terrorists, as well as Yancy Butler, known to us from the movie 'Hard Target'. All of them showed their best side and proved their talent to us.

As a result, it turned out to be an interesting, exciting, unforgettable and competently shot adventure action movie, fully justifying itself in a decent budget for those times. The movie will obviously want to watch more than once, even if it is a bit behind the movie 'On the Crest of the Wave'.
